1970 Chevrolet El Camino Barn Find. A survivor. The 1970 Chevelles and El Caminos are one of the most desirable year models to own. They are referred to as the double headlight car, unlike the 1971 and 1972. This Pickup is in need of a new home & restoration , Choose your motor and build it the way you want to. It came out of a Judge's sell from a collection of a man that passed away. I bought it on a Bill of Sale an will sell the same way It was researched and will Bond for a Title,. The El Camino came with a Factory 350 small block and Automatic Transmission. Power Steering, Disc Brakes, Factory Air, Push Button Radio. It was parked in 1979, so obviously it has sat for years. The 1979 License Plate was on the car. All glass, including the windshield are food. The windows roll up, Door hinges have been oiled. The original manual was present in the car. Original & complete Dash, gauges, radio, glove box lid, seat door panels. The steering wheel was removed but is in the bed under the camper shell, During the time of sitting in the last decade, the windows were down and it rained in. It will need a floor pan, which is small and affordable for the El Camino. Red Paint Code with Black interior. Additional info: The block with the heads are present. May or may not be good but the casting numbers are accurate for the El Camino. A/C Box and hoses are present, along with a PS pump. Shroud and some misc. parts are under the camper shell. It rolls and sits good but has whiskey dents for sure. There is good potential here. They are not easy to find. Good LS candidate or whatever you wish to make it. I would consider a SS clone. It would be beautiful.
